 As one reads 1 Timothy 3:15, the greatness and splendour of the local church looms large. The church is said to be the household of God, the assembly of the living God, the support and bulwark of the truth!And yet, as we read verse 16, there is an apparent shift in thought. What then is the connection between the church in verse 15 and the secret in verse 16? What is the relationship between the local assembly of believers and "the secret of godliness?" In what way does this great secret relate and apply to the church?

What is the difference between a government and a state? What is consensual government? How does a believer fit into a discussion of these topics? We hear the term fake news a lot today. Fake news is a way to control a narrative. Fake news, and lies are a way to suppress the truth in order to censor dissent. What are the ramifications of all this?
