Differing Things

This is the one hundredth Differing Things Podcast! We promised to speak and show how far society and religion have moved away from the teaching of the Bible "rightly divided." No where is this more apparent than most denominational teaching limiting the scope of Jesus Christ's victory over death and sin! How total was Jesus Christ's victory over sin and death? This is the subject of today's Differing Things!

How does God reckon the age of something? Can an individual's physical age differ from their spiritual age? By studying what appears to be a contradiction in the Scriptures we find out that indeed physical and spiritual ages can differ! 

Confusion about the Apostle Paul, and his ministry causes error throughout churches today. The result is mixing of Israel's prophetic kingdom program with the Body of Christ's secret grace program and thus destroying both. We need to ask ourselves "Why Paul." The answer will clear up the confusion, and allow for effective Bible study that allows us to understand what God is doing today in the Dispensation of Grace!

Covenant Theology is the dominant theological system of most mainline Protestant churches and maintains that God has replaced the Jewish people with the church. Based on two or three "covenants" that are found nowhere in Scripture, it claims that Christians are now God's chosen people and that the Jewish people have no claim to the land of Israel. When examining this theology, what matters most is if it can stand when tested by Scripture. It cannot! 

We hear the words covenant and testament frequently in Bible study. Most of us think these words are interchangeable, but this episode of Differing Things submits they are different. Are we "able ministers of the new covenant" or are we "able ministers of the New Testament?"

The Israel-Palestine conflict, a century-old struggle over a tiny but historically significant region, remains steeped in religion, politics, and shifting borders. Covering Biblical times, Ottoman rule, British occupation, Arab-Israeli wars, and decades of conflict, the ever fluid boundaries of Israel reflect the shifting tides of power politics in the Middle East. Is all this a fulfillment of Bible prophecy?

We have all heard the phrase, "You must be born again." What exactly does this mean? Are all Christians born again? Why does Jesus say he is talking about "earthly things," and not "celestial things" in John chapter 3? Is Israel's regeneration different than the Body of Christ's?
