John 3:16 and the Present Dispensation of Grace

John 3:16 is the most well-known verse in all the Bible. Many Christians use it as a verse to present salvation to the unsaved. By doing this they prove their own ignorance of the Scriptures. John 3:16 is not a verse on how one gets saved today. It is a verse on how the Hebrew people were to be saved in their kingdom program. The present dispensation of the grace of God has a different message. Today's Differing Things Podcast looks at this very crucial topic and will help clear up the misunderstanding of John 3:16. Jesus did not speak the words of this verse to Nicodemus but they are part of the narration of the Gospel of John, penned by John long after Jesus had ascended to heaven. One way we can tell this is that John 3:16 is the teaching about how to be saved after Jesus died and resurrected, not before., I got this from the commentary of the REV BY SPIRIT TRUTH FELLOWSHIP
